I find myself both happy and sad this weekend. Yesterday I missed the Celebration of Life for my uncle Gary who passed away in December (the sad) because I am now 36 weeks pregnant (the happy!) and couldn't make the trip up to Washington. Gary Uncle fought a long 4 year battle with both multiple myeloma and lung cancer. He was such a major part of my summer memories at the lake growing up...he was always willing to spar with me and keep my brain moving, taught me to water ski, and would do anything to help you if you needed it. Our family will not be the same without him.
Rest in Peace, Uncle Gar.
